float glass

The float glass is the transparent flat one formed by cooling, hardening, annealing and cutting the glass strip with even thickness formed on metal fluid from molten glass which is produced in melting furnace at high temperature with high-quality quartzite sandstone powder, soda ash and dolomite as raw materials.
It is widely applied to further processing of tempered, laminated, hot bending, insulating and coated glass.

The glass surface is very flat and smooth with quite uniform thickness and little optical distortion.
